Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Support Worker in the Audiology Department at the Freeman Hospital.

The purpose of the job is to work under the direction and supervision of an Audiologist providing assistance and support to facilitate an efficient service and maintain a safe environment within the Audiology department.

The post holder will be expected to participate in a range of clinical and non-clinical activities within the department.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role include:

  • The post holder will act as a clinical assistant in paediatric hearing assessments and other specialist clinics as required.
  • Help to maintain an efficient, professional and patient centred service by contributing to administrative tasks, housekeeping and other departmental duties as required.
  • The job is based at the Freeman Hospital however the post holder may be required to operate at the RVI or other sites from time to time.
