Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic clinical administrator to join our administration team based at the Great North Trauma & Emergency Centre, Royal Victoria Infirmary. You will be required to provide a comprehensive administrative service to our Consultants (x28) and other members of our Clinical Team. This is an interesting and challenging job, working in a supportive but busy environment. If you enjoy communicating with people either in person or on the phone; are a good team player with excellent oral and written communication skills, have a willingness to contribute to positive team working you could be the person we are looking for.

Main duties of the job
You will be expected to liaise with staff and colleagues at all levels. You will have proven administrative skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload to tight deadlines. You will need to demonstrate initiative and flexibility in your approach and be able to work to tight deadlines. You must be computer literate and be able to work under your own initiative. It is essential that all work is of a consistently high standard and dealt with in a confidential manner. Full training will be given in departmental policies and procedures.
