Job summary
Applications are invited for the post of Bank Domestic Assistant to work within the Newcastle Hospitals Trust.
The Newcastle Hospitals and Community Services Staff Bank provide temporary staff to various wards and departments across the Trust. We are looking for Bank Domestic Assistants to become part of our team of valued bank staff.
You should be enthusiastic, friendly and be flexible to help cover additional shifts, when required, to support service delivery within our Hotel Services Department on an as and when basis.
Previous experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
You must have excellent customer skills, work well as a part of a team and have a flexible and adaptable approach to duties.
You will be expected to work on Wards, Departments, Theatres or the Rapid Response Team depending on service needs.

Main duties of the job
As a member of the Hotel Services, team you will provide a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors and staff.
To ensure the highest possible standard of cleanliness is achieved andcomplying with the National Standards of Cleanliness, and the local Infection Control Policy within given areas to minimise the risk of cross infection for staff, patients and members of the public within Trust premises.
