Job summary
We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated ambitious individual to join our well integrated team to support us with our treatment services in Oral Surgery. We offer excellent clinical facilities in the department of oral surgery within the dental hospital. The post is available from July 2025 as a locum position for a fixed term of 1 year.
You will have had previous experience working within and OMFS/Oral Surgery department with an enthusiasm to communicate your own knowledge and experience to students and patients. You will have been fully registered with the GDC. You will be offered a structured induction and support with the opportunity for further educational development.
Main duties of the job
The primary aim of the 1.0 WTE Specialty Doctor locum post (1 year fixed term) is to provide support for the oral surgery department of the Trust under the direction of the consultant lead. The post provides an excellent opportunity to develop and use oral surgical skills The nature of the post requires that candidates has had suitable experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery/oral surgery at DCT level or higher. There are opportunities in appropriate cases for candidates to develop a particular area of interest.
