Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Doctor to join our dynamic clinical trials team, specialising in neurology clinical trials. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to embark on a career in clinical research, with little or no prior experience required as comprehensive training will be provided.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality clinical trials, including randomised control trials of epilepsy treatments, studies on ultra-long-term wearable devices, genetic research, and microbiome registries. You will gain invaluable clinical exposure and develop a broad range of skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Main duties of the job
Clinical:
Assist with patient recruitment, assessments, and monitoring during trials.
Ensure accurate data collection and adherence to clinical trial protocols.
Administrative:
Maintain detailed and organised clinical trial records.
Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth trial operations.
Research:
Contribute to the development and implementation of research studies.
Analyse data and assist in the preparation of research reports and publications.
Teaching:
Participate in educational sessions and training for team members.
Share insights and knowledge gained from clinical trial experiences with peers and juniors.
