Job summary

As a Project Coordinator you will work as part of the Northern Alliance Advanced Therapies Treatment Centre (NA-ATTC) team on the ATTC network's Delivery of Advanced Therapy Clinical Trials at Scale Programme. This will involve contributing to a range of Programme activities to support the NA-ATTC team in the Training and Education workstream and the wider Programme milestones.

Main duties of the job

  • An integral member of the project team which is responsible for delivering a programme to accelerate Advanced Therapy clinical trials.
  • Responsible for supporting and organising programme activities, including for Training and Education, under the direction of the NA-ATTC Lead Project Manager.
  • This post sits within Business, Development and Enterprise within the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The Trust is a lead organisation on the NIHR funded NA-ATTC.

  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification / experience

Desirable

  • Qualification and experience in project management methodology

Knowledge & Experience

Essential

  • Be competent with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Have experience of collaborative working involving multiple complex and diverse partners

Desirable

  • Experience of project work in other organisations of similar size and complexity within or outside of the NHS
  • Experience of project work involving training and education
  • Familiar with the workings of the Research Delivery Network
  • Familiar with the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult
  • Experience in managing social media and other communication channels

Skills & Abilities
