We are excited to recruit in to some administration opportunities within Maternity and Special Care to support our Clinic and Wards areas.
We would like to appeal to individuals who are proactive and enthusiastic - light hearted and dedicated. Within the RVI Materniy and Special Care team, these are key qualities needed to ensure well rounded support and customer care is provided.

Main duties of the job
We seek applications from those with excellent computer literacy skills, as you will support with all elements of pathway administration - registering patients on to the system, making appointments and taking calls to supporting with reception and Ward duties are all part of a typical days' work.
NOTE: You may be exposed to sensitive information such as pregnancy loss and termination in these positions.

You can expect to get involved in:
- Maintaining an efficient and reliable admissions service for patients and families attending the Maternity Reception and Special Care Unit
- A welcoming meet and greet to patients and families attending for urgent out-patient and day case care
- Prepare, deliver and upload timely patient information to our electronic and paper based records
- Ensure efficient processing and transfer of patients within our electronic bed board system
- Deal with telephone enquires politely and promptly
- Support our admission and discharge process for patients arriving and departing from our units - sharing information with other health care professionals in a timely manner
- Supporting Midwifery, Consultant and Nursing teams with ad hoc administration tasks
- Demonstrating duties to others joining the team and a flexible attitude to supporting within the department
A 4-week training plan provided with time to shadow duties being performed and demonstrate your learning.
