The Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery Department is based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary and is one of the largest and most highly respected units of its kind in the UK.
The department is excited to be able to offer the opportunity for a reliable, hardworking and motivated clerk/receptionist to join the Plastic Surgery Outpatient team.
The working times for this post will be 7.5 hours per day on Monday and Tuesday, the exact start and finish times can be discussed prior to starting in the role.

Main duties of the job
You will work with the current outpatient staff carrying out duties which will include scheduling appointments, working on reception, coordinating patients' paperwork for clinics and dealing with patient telephone queries amongst other general office duties.
- Provide a full range of reception and clerical duties to patients, relatives, carers, Consultant and their teams, to be carried out in a pleasant, effective and efficient manner.
- Preparing clinic notes, retrieving missing notes that are wanted for patients attending outpatient clinics or who appear at Reception desk to be seen as emergencies.
