Job summary

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Information Analyst within Operational Management. We are looking for an individual who is dedicated to delivering both service improvement and development within Patient Flow and Business Continuity.

We are looking for a reliable and highly organised individual who has excellent communication skills. You must also be able to demonstrate an adaptable, enthusiastic approach to your work, and the ability to manage your workload with various competing demands for your attention. We are looking for someone who can work independently and also as part of the wider clinical board.

We are looking for someone with a working knowledge of NHS Systems e.g. eRecord, Optica, SystemOne.Clear knowledge and understanding of patient confidentiality is vital as you will deal with sensitive and personal information during the course of your duties. You will have clear and effective communication skills and demonstrate kindness, empathy and compassion to patients, colleagues and staff.

Main duties of the job

  • Data collection, validation, reporting.
  • Updating Corporate Dashboards.
  • Support Discharge Nurse Team.
  • Trust wide working.
  • Liaise with Key Trust Staff and external health / social care organisation's.
  • Maintain on call rota's.
  • Update and report Operations cancelled on the day.

  • oNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent previous experience)

Knowledge & Experience

  • oHave knowledge of clinical terminology and working within multi-disciplinary teams
  • oBe computer literate with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with demonstrable experience of managing, developing and interrogating large databases
  • oUnderstanding confidentiality

Desirable

  • oWorking Knowledge of NHS Systems e.g. eRecord, Optica, SystemOne
  • oPossess a sound working knowledge of computer based and other types of information systems, data collection, validation, reporting and presentation within the NHS or an equivalent organisation
