An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Clerk Receptionist to join our admin team in the Dental Hospital.

Main duties of the job

Working on one of our busy Outpatient receptions area within the Dental Hospital.

  • There are a total of 21 administration and clerical staff reporting to 5 senior clerical staff over five departments
  • Approximately 250 Dental Undergraduates in total
  • There are approximately 110,000 outpatient attendances per annum.

Our staff oversee over 6,500 patient contacts every day, delivering high standards of healthcare from the following sites:

o Freeman Hospital

o Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI)

o Health Innovation Neighbourhood (on the former Newcastle General Hospital and Centre for Ageing and Vitality site)

o Newcastle Dental Hospital

o Newcastle Fertility Centre

o Northern Centre for Cancer Care, North Cumbria

o Northern Genetics Service

o Cramlington Manor Walks
