The Directorate of Surgical and Associated Services at Freeman Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual to join the Trust as Administration Support Officer to work within the Department of Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary & Transplant Surgery.
Full Time -37 hours 30 minutes/week & Part Time - 22 Hours/week posts available.

Main duties of the job
The primary focus of the role will be to be part of a team providing comprehensive and efficient administration and clerical services to the HPB service, to organise and co-ordinate the benign HPB MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) Meeting and to support the remote care pancreatitis service. To work very closely with the HPB Clinical Nurse Specialist team to deliver a high quality service. This will include the processing and registration of referrals (cancer and benign) and dealing with some patient queries.
The post holder will provide assistance and support to the HPB Office and process all the HPB referrals, both external and internal. The post holder will also deal with telephone queries from all disciplines and forward onto the relevant personnel as appropriate. The post holder will provide admin support and co-ordinate the HPB Benign and Remote Care Pancreatitis MDT meetings and provide typing support for the weekly meetings.
