ENT and Audiology have an exciting opportunity for an organised, flexible, enthusiastic and well-motivated person to take on the role Outpatient Team Lead within the ENT Outpatient Department at Freeman Hospital. The successful candidate will be capable of working in a challenging environment to deliver excellent patient care and targets.

Main duties of the job
They will work closely with Leads for Speech and Language Therapy and Audiology, Outpatient Sisters at Freeman and Outreach sites, the Service and Administration Managers, and clinicians including consultants and nurse practitioners, to manage waiting outpatient waiting times and capacity issues, and will be responsible for overall supervision and training of the Outpatient clerical staff, including clerk receptionists and Supervisors, ensuring compliance with all targets, including service and HR targets.
To join our team, you must be committed to the delivery of a first class administrative service. As well as having excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience working in a supervisory role along with knowledge of eRecord and eReferral would be advantageous along with knowledge of Trust policies and procedures. Having the ability to communicate with members of the public, all staff and health care providers are essential requirements of the role as is working effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that our high standard of patient care is maintained.
