A fantastic opportunity has become available for an individual who wishes to utilize their skills and passion in coordinating the progress of patients through the Metastatic Spinal Cord Compression (MSCC) Service by ensuring a proactive, comprehensive, streamlined process which revolves around the patient and their individual needs.

Main duties of the job
You will ensure a smooth process and compliance to national and local waiting time targets and other national, regional, and local standards. You will provide advice and education services relating to MSCC to NUTH and other partner Trusts across the regional network.
The individual will work as part of the Acute Oncology Service based within the Northern Centre for Cancer Care at the Freeman Hospital and act as an expert who understands the process and stages of patient care pathways specific to MSCC.
This part time post will work across many aspects of the Multidisciplinary Teams facilitating and promoting effectives routes of communication and liaison between different specialties.
The individual will ideally have some evidence of change or project management and will be happy to undertake audits and reports, implementing change as and when necessary. Excellent communication skills are essential.
