We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual looking for a unique role within Adult Critical Care as a part time Information & data and support officer, part of the Adult Critical Care audit team. This role will be supporting ICNARC CMP, Data collection and information across the trust.
The Adult Critical Care Service is delivered across 2 sites, 4 units with a total of 88 commissioned beds and has circa 6000 admission episodes per year.
Currently based at Freeman Hospital you will primarily work with the Nurse Specialist, be self-directed and work flexibly to meet the needs of the service & deadlines.

Main duties of the job
The role can be varied but includes for example
- Management & support of the Medicus data base for the collection of the ITU data set ICNARC CMP V3.1
- Support and training for the new replacement data base for data input of ICNARC CMP V4.0
- Supporting ICNARC Case Mix Programme across all units
- Supporting the CCMDS quality across all units
- Collection of data relating to Adult Critical Care within the Trust and to external agencies. E.g., NoECC network
- Supporting members of the MDT who require information extraction from the data base

- To maintain quality & validation of data used
- The role includes the support of the Ward Watcher system, ICNARC CMP, CCMDS, CQUIN programmes, QIP programmes, Capacity & resource data, National dashboards, managing the flow of data relating to Adult Critical Care within the Trust and to external agencies.
- The post holder will support other projects and contribute to work streams relating to governance, quality and safety as delegated
In addition to your administrative qualifications & experience you should have/ be able to demonstrate
- Good IT skills and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft office, with the ability to use spreadsheets to a high level.
- A working knowledge of Patient Administrative systems, processes, and information management
- An awareness of Adult Critical Care datasets e.g., ICNARC CMP, CCMDS
- Effective presentation/ report writing skills
