Job summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated, flexible and dynamic theatre orderly to work within Cardiothoracic Theatres. Cardiothoracic Theatres comprises of 5 operating theatres that undertake all aspects of adult and paediatric Cardiothoracic surgery. The post holder will carry out all orderly duties and assist the Department Co-ordinator in the provision of Orderly services to the Freeman Cardiothoracic Theatres.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for the safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatres.Cleaning and care of patient trolleys.Checking and stocking of theatre facilities and to assist the theatre personnel as required.

  • Collect and deliver equipment to many departments.
  • Cleaning and care of patient trolleys.
  • Checking and stocking of theatre facilities and to assist the theatre personnel as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness within the department .
