Administrative and clerical support for children's theatre at the RVI
Theatre receptionist you will be the first person of contact for children's theatre
Greeting patients, carers and visitors. Answering phone calls and responding to general queries. Reporting faults and confirming patient/ visitors identity
Reporting any suspicious persons or activity
Scheduling patients and transferring patients using powerchart

Main duties of the job
Administrative support position
Greet patients, careers and visitors
Answer phone calls, send for patients
Report faults and cancelled sessions
respond to enquiries
confirms visitor/patient/employer identification
IT skills and good communication skills
The successful candidate must be calm at times, the job may be stressful due to interaction with many different people with different types of personalities, and being expected to perform multiple tasks quickly. You must be courteous, professional at all times. Attentive with a well groomed appearance. You must be respectful and be able to use your initiative. You must understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion and a positive attitude is essential. You will be undertaking a administrative support role in the role of children's theatre receptionist. You will be the face of children's theatre and the first to meet and greet patients carers, staff and visitors. You will need excellent communication skills and be able to answer calls and pass on messages. Send for patients and have excellent IT skills for scheduling and shuffling patients. You will be asked to report faults and to report on scheduled sessions. You will verify employee and visitor identification and ask visitors to sign into the department. Report any suspicious persons or activity .
