Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the Medicine Clinical Board to work as Administration Assistant within Diabetes Outpatient Centre to provide administration service to patients attending outpatient appointments.

We are looking for a good communicator to deal with patients and carers both face to face and over the phone.

Main duties of the job

You will have excellent IT skills and use the Trust electronic patients systems to book patient appointments and produce patient outpatient appointment letters.

You will work as part of a team of administrators and work closely with Medical, Nursing and Allied Professionals.

  • To ensure that data input is amended as necessary

  • Experience working in a patient/public environment in an administration or clerical role
  • Previous experience working within the NHS
