We have an excellent opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our Mental Health Facilitator team within the directorate of Adult Mental Health. You will be responsible for providing a professional, efficient, and accurate administrative support function, undertaking general clerical duties to support the clinical team to provide an effective and timely service. In addition you will be required to cover reception which will include meeting and greeting patients face to face and also answering the telephone in a timely manner.
This is a diverse role and you will be working in a busy and fact paced environment within a team that value and support each other. We are looking for someone with administrative experience, strong communication skills with the ability to work on their own and in a team and who can demonstrate our values of Compassion, Trust, Respect and Integrity.

Main duties of the job
The duties of this job are varied They include: Ensure accurate and up to date patient details are maintained on the Trusts patient information system (SystmOne) in line with Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring referrals and waiting lists are entered accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining data protection standards.
To undertake general office duties, including, scanning, printing, photocopying, typing of emails and simple letters as requested by the team. Making and receiving telephone calls both external and internal, according to Trust standards, taking accurate messages and transferring calls as appropriate, maintaining confidentiality in line with Trust Policy.
To undertake reception duties, acknowledging and helping patients, visitors and other staff attending the base. To provide general administrative support to the outpatient function within the service, including booking appointments and cancellation of clinics, as requested by the senior administrator. Taking appropriate action on any data quality issues. Health & Safety checks.
