Job summary
To support and assist the Medical Education Manager, Clinical Education Leads, Tutors and Directors of Medical Education in assuring high quality delivery of post- graduate and undergraduate medical education and clinical teaching.
To be responsible as a member of the medical education team for the administration and delivery of clinical teaching, education and examinations for medical students and trainees, with responsibility for specific areas and work streams e.g. psychiatry, elderly care or paediatrics.
Providing a central support function for all communication from key stakeholders including the Medical School, students and trainees in relation to their education and training.
Main duties of the job
The role is responsible for the administration, coordination, and quality assurance of medical and interprofessional education within the Trust. Key duties include organising training activities, supporting students and trainees, liaising with trainers and external education partners, and ensuring high standards of educational delivery.
