We are launching a CAMHS Day Patient Provision an in patient avoidance pathway offering intensive, compassionate, recovery focused mental health support for young people and their families. This hybrid service works closely with the CAMHS Inpatient Unit, and we are recruiting motivated, skilled professionals who want to make a real difference.
We are seeking a compassionate Band 5 nurse to join our CAMHS Eating Disorder Home Treatment Team, acting as a link for the new Day Patient provision based at the Beacon CAMHS inpatient unit. The role includes providing meal support to young people both in the service and at home.
Our Day Patient Provision offers structured therapeutic programmes, multidisciplinary interventions and a nurturing environment where young people can stabilise, build resilience and work towards recovery while staying connected to home and school. Many will have emotional regulation difficulties, trauma histories, ASD, intellectual disability and high risk behaviours. The team delivers intensive, psychologically informed community care.

A driving licence and access to a car are essential.
Shifts are 12 hours, 3-4 days a week, between 08:0020:00 across a 7day service. Flexible working is considered.
Main duties of the job
Working within a multi-disciplinary team to assess the needs of CYP alongside registered Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, SALT, dietetics, an Occupational Therapist, Psychotherapist, Psychologist and Peer Support.
Working with young people and their families/ carers to develop holistic care plans / treatment interventions Working with other agencies in a collaborative way to manage risk Working within a team who prioritise compassion, adaptability and creativity Assessing and responding to risk
