Band 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker

The closing date is 04 February 2026

Job summary

A recent patient described Welford Ward as a place of safety where people understood what I was going through and didnt judge me. Staff listened, supported and genuinely cared. They helped me recognise my worth, showed that life beyond my illness was possible and worth fighting for, and gave me moments of calm from the chaos of my mind. Most importantly, they gave me back my life and hope. Welford Ward, refurbished in 2023, is a modern eating disorders unit based at the Bennion Centre at Glenfield Hospital, offering care for up to 15 adult inpatients from across the East Midlands.
