Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with qualified therapists and Band 4 Technical Instructors to provide a high standard Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy service to all patients including completion of delegated tasks and joint visits.
You will be a motivated and enthusiastic person who wants to be part of an effective team, delivering high standards of clinical care to patients across various locations across Leicestershire and Rutland
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent communication skills Be a car driver and have a full UK driving licence.
- Be able to be flexible to meet the needs of the service.
- Have the ability to work well individually and as part of the wider MDT.
- Be able to prioritise and manage their own workload.
- Be able to work confidentially and sensitively with patients and their carers.

Main duties of the job
- To ensure clinical care delegated by the responsible clinician is consistently of a high standard and conforms to the treatment plan as documented by the clinic.
- To treat patients individually or in a group in a variety of settings without the direct supervision or presence of an OT/Physiotherapist, including the patients home.
- To accept patients delegated by therapists and band 4's and carry own patient caseload within agreed guidelines.
- To ensure first contact interventions/assessments are carried out and completed within the parameters identified in the protocols.
- To communicate accurate timely and relevant information to members of the multi-disciplinary and primary health care team and other organisations/agencies, to ensure best possible patient care.
