Receptionist / administrator for physiotherapy - Hinckley

Job summary
We are looking for an administrator to join our team.
This role will entail covering the physiotherapy reception desk which involves booking and amending appointments, as well as answering the telephone. As you will be patient facing, excellent communication skills are essential. There will be some cancelling and rebooking appointments to maximise clinical time for the therapists.
Other aspects of the role will involve booking meetings into diaries and template building on electronic clinical rotas for therapists. Knowledge of word, excel and power point would be useful to help with general administrative tasks.
You may come into telephone contact with patients accessing all of our clinics, around the City and County a total of 8 teams, delivering care across 14 different sites. You will also provide remote administrative support to our Lutterworth therapy team, along with other sites as required.
You will be accessing the SystmOne electronic patient record system to record referrals, book appointments and note key comments regarding interactions, so it is important that you are confident to use a telephone and a computer. Full training to use SystmOne will be provided.
Due to the nature of the role, home working is not suitable for this position. The role will be 18.75 hours across a minimum of 3 days, one of which must be a Thursday to meet the needs of the service.

- Booking patients in for appointments and rearranging appointments.
- Answering telephone calls from patients and referrers to the service.
- Ordering stock for the department.
- Booking interpreters for appointments.
- Some administration roles such as excel spreadsheets, word documents.
- General administration roles within the department.
- Minuting team meetings and share meeting agendas.
- Building appointment diaries on SystmOne.
- Managing cancelled appointments in therapists diaries.
