Job summary
We are advertising for several Bank Facilities vacancies. As a member of the bank you get to chose which shifts and in what localities across our Leicestershire sites you apply for when we release our shifts on a weekly basis. As a Bank Facilities Assistant you will provide an cover for our sites and deliver effective, patient-focused Facilities Service (FM) when carrying out cleaning, portering and catering duties. What is the 'bank'? - The term 'Bank' refers to our pool of bank employees who are our temporary staffing solution, they cover annual leave and sickness across our sites. All roles will provide a range of duties across our Trust sites and support services to ensure a safe, efficient and effective service to all patients, staff and visitors is delivered.
Main duties of the job
Facilities Assistant Duties Duties will include the preparation and regeneration of patient meals at ward level on a daily basis Providing an effective, patient-focused cleaning and domestic service, to meet NHS cleanliness standards as a minimum within designated patient / non-patient areas within the Trust. The postholder will also be responsible for the provision of appropriate portering services including transportation of linen cages, waste bins / carts in and around hospital environments and patient moves (reception to department or department to department) This role will require the individual to rotate between their responsibilities as required.
