Each community nursing team forms part of an Integrated Community HUB and each of the teams requires a team leader. Opportunities have arisen for District Nurses to manage a community nursing team, taking overall responsibility for the assessment, management, and evaluation of evidence-based nursing care to patients in a variety of settings. We have vacancies for a full time (37.5 hours) District Nurse in the City East Community Nursing HUB (Merlyn Vaz, Leicester City), a full time (37.5 hours) District Nurse in the City West Community Nursing HUB (Braunstone), a part time (30 hours) District Nurse in the East North Community Nursing HUB (based at Rutland) and a part time (30 hours) District Nurse in the East South Community Nursing HUB (Enderby). Main duties of the job

The District Nurse post will involve you working with and supporting Nurses for Complex Care, Senior District Nurses and Senior Nurses for Complex Care in delivering high quality care. You will have responsibility for care quality performance and clinical activity by providing professional nursing leadership and guidance, clinical advice, and management.
