Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Therapy support worker to join our large innovative community-based team working across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland as part of our children's Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy team.
To provide support of care to a high standard for patients within the Children's community Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy service.
Complete skilled and specialised support work including clinical techniques of a higher level technical skills to assess and treat patients with complex conditions in a variety of settings.
Complete work unsupervised with patients including delivery of treatment and managing equipment reviews, reporting back progress to registered staff and raising concerns appropriately.
To work effectively as a team member including delegation of work, supervision and development of Band 3 Therapy Support workers and attend in service training programme.
The role requires access to a car and full driving licence, with business use insurance.
