We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a housekeeper on Clarendon Ward at the Evington Centre. The post is 15 hours per week, which will be worked as two 7.5 hour shifts between the hours of 07.30 -18.30 Monday to Sunday in conjunction with the other housekeepers. More hours may become available on appointment to the post.
The ward is a physical health ward which has 21 beds for male patients and provides sub-acute care, rehabilitation and palliative care.

Main duties of the job
Housekeepers are a vital part of our ward teams and aid the nursing and multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care. This role includes but is not limited to -
- Helping patients with their nutrition and hydration to include serving meals, assisting patients to feed themselves or feeding them.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming ward environment.
- Sitting with patients who may require one to one support and supervision.
- Managing stores and store rooms.
- Working closely with the Ward Manager in maintaining and monitoring clinical and environmental standards including the use of audit tools.
