We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a part time housekeeper on East Ward at Hinckley and Bosworth Community Hospital. There are two wards at Hinckley which provide sub-acute care, palliative care and rehabilitation.

You will work your contracted hours between 07.30 and 19.30 in conjunction with colleagues over a roster covering Monday to Sunday. Shifts will be 11.5 or 7.5 hours in length.

Free parking is available on site.

The local bus transport network has a stop near the hospital.

Main duties of the job

Housekeepers are a vital part of our ward teams and aid the nursing and multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care. This role includes but is not limited to -

Helping patients with their nutrition and hydration to include serving meals, assisting patients to feed themselves or feeding them.
Maintaining a tidy and welcoming ward environment.
Sitting with patients who may require one to one support and supervision.
Managing stores and store rooms.
Working closely with the Ward Manager in maintaining and monitoring clinical and environmental standards including the use of audit tools.
