We have a rewarding opportunity for an Admin Assistant working across two sites within the Directorate, Bradgate Mental Health Unit, Glenfield Hospital, Groby Road, Leicester, LE3 9EJ and The Evington Centre, Gwendolen Road, Leicester LE5 4QG supporting adult and elderly patient mental health teams. with maintenance of Electronic Patient Records and and supporting of the Acute Recovery Team reception area.

You will be working for a busy team and having direct contact with nursing staff, doctors, consultants, psychology staff and service users.

You will be joining the administrative team and will be supported to learn and develop. Enabling you to provide an excellent administrative service to the multi-disciplinary team within the service.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be tasked with providing high quality, responsive and co-ordinated administrative support to the Community Mental Health Team. Working cohesively with clinical teams to ensure that a high quality, resource-efficient and cost-effective service is provided to the community services throughout Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland

The post holder will work with existing systems and processes to provide an effective administrative service to the team. Accurately using and maintaining administrative systems within specified timescales. To demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. To develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and external agencies.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the Trusts values at all times in the workplace. Being responsible in the use and expenditure of the Trusts resources that you utilise. To maintain appropriate levels of stock and/or equipment in line with the needs of the service.
