Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) Advisor at Leicestershire Partnership Trust (LPT). Working as part of the wider Safety and EPRR Team. LPT are passionate about the field of EPRR and are looking for a candidate who will drive forward our work in a way that helps deliver the Trusts strategy. We are looking for a passionate, experienced, resilient professional with a can-do attitude and flexible approach to adapt to situations as they evolve. Excellent communication skills are key to be able to confidently work with senior members of the organisation, Directors and non-executive Directors. You will support and lead the development and delivery of the EPRR annual work plan, with the intent of achieving full compliance with NHS England's Core Standards for EPRR. You will support the Trust by reviewing and updating existing plans, leading EPRR training and exercising programmes and leading or influencing the response to any emerging issues or emergencies.
You will act in collaboration with multi-agency partners across the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland health economy and wider Local Resilience Forum regarding emergency planning arrangements; complex response procedures; and providing assurance to our AEO and the Trust board as to EPRR compliance.

- Coordinate emergency plans and business continuity plans, working closely with clinical and corporate departments. This includes ensuring that effective and up to date plans are in place to comply with national, regional, and local guidance, along with ensuring the organisation meets its legal requirements as described in the Civil Contingencies Act (2004) and EPRR Framework.
- Be a key point of contact for emergency preparedness matters within the organisation, providing advice, guidance, training, and support to the organisation and participating in system emergency planning meetings.
- Be responsible for maintaining up-to-date policies, plans and guidelines, coordinate any required reporting/Situation Reporting(SitReps)and distributing key information across the organisation.
- Be responsible for ensuring full EPRR compliance as directed under the NHS England (NHSE) Framework, ensuring all core standards are satisfactorily complied with.
- Managing the Operations hub in line with the Integrated Care Board (ICB)System Co-ordination Centre (SCC) policy; co-ordinating incoming communications and, ensuring these are communicated to the relevant Directorates and key senior leads in the Trust.
- Have responsibility and accountability for ensuring effective and efficient responses are made in the event of a major incident.
