Job summary

You will be well supported, nurtured, and offered bespoke training for this role. You will gain valuable experience and an opportunity to progress to become a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, Health Visitor.

We have vacancies across Leicester city. We provide a Monday-Friday service excluding bank holidays and consider requests for flexible working.

You must have a full driving licence that allows you to drive in the UK and have the use of a car. We do encourage applications from Newly Qualified Nurses, however, you must have your PIN number.

Main duties of the job

You will work as an integral part of the clinical Healthy Together team working with children from birth to school age and their families. You will participate in the delivery of The Healthy Child Programme and be expected to work in various community settings including family homes and in clinics.

You will need to be someone who can use your initiative and be attentive to detail. You should be able to work autonomously, but also be part of a team.

Your development in this role will be supported through a bespoke package of training including healthy growth; breastfeeding; healthy bladder/healthy bowel; Solihull; and Safeguarding.
