Job summary
Are you looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to develop and progress in your career?
If the answer is yes then a move to Community Hospitals is the right choice for you. The hospital in Melton Mowbray is nurse led which will offer you a level of autonomy and satisfaction that you wont get in larger units. The ward has 17 beds and a palliative care suite and provides sub-acute and palliative care as well as complex rehabilitation. The ward is one of thirteen which form the Trusts Inpatient Community Health Services Division and the successful candidate will play a vital role in providing compassionate patient centred care. Our cohorts of patients are increasingly complex due to the need to facilitate transfer from acute trusts for individuals who are medically fit for discharge and to prevent admission from home to the secondary care sector.
You are welcome to visit the ward during the application process. If you would like to do so, please contact the name on this advert.
Free parking is available on site.
The local bus transport network has a stop near the hospital.
The Trust provides extensive learning and development opportunities to support you in progressing your nursing career to a senior role if you wish to do so.
