We are recruiting for Health Care Support Workers for our newly refurbished ward based at Rutland Memorial Hospital. Our wards are led by nurses and you will work under their guidance as part of a very supportive team. The wards provide sub-acute care, palliative care and rehabilitation.

We are looking for Health Care Support Workers who can contribute to the care of our patients with kindness, compassion and empathy. Experience of working in health and social care is desirable but not essential. Full support and training will be given so we are also interested in meeting you if you have no experience but can demonstrate an interest in and motivation for the role. You will be supported to complete the Care Certificate and we actively encourage on-going development. The post will provide cover on a rota basis over a 24 hour per day, 7 day a week service.

Undertaking clinical observations and providing clinical care as delegated.

Providing personal care.

Supporting our patients in maintaining their health, well-being and independence.

Accurately recording patient information.

Working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
