Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for Physios to work in the Home First and Community Therapy Service working alongside fellow Clinical Specialist OTs and Physio, receive regular supervision and appraisals. A training programme is in place and a comprehensive induction package.

You will be joining an integrated health and social care teams and will allow you to use your therapy skills to

support people in their homes when they are having a health or social care crisis, rather than going into hospital or a care home

help people get home from hospital quickly, provide them with rehab and reablement to restore their health, wellbeing and independence

deliver high quality therapy reablement, rehab and recovery to people within their own homes

We welcome applications from band 5 physios who have completed their probation period and are looking to develop skills and progress into a band 6 position. We have established a Band 5 Development Programme which enables Band 5 physios to work towards developing the skills required to practice as a Band 6 physios.

Main duties of the job

To be responsible for providing a professional Physiotherapy service and carrying an agreed caseload under the supervision of Senior Physiotherapy staff. To work with other therapy staff within a multi-disciplinary format. To deliver a physiotherapy service to patients within a variety of settings, requiring flexibility/adaptability in recognising the complexity of these environments.
