Job summary

We have exciting opportunities existing within Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, Learning & Development Department (L&D) for highly motivated individuals to join the Events Co-ordination Team. Providing administrative duties and support to a portfolio of learning programmes as directed by the Resource Manager and the Training and Education Leads. Working closely with a wide range of colleagues to support the efficient running of events, mandatory training and bespoke interventions.

These are interesting and varied positions which will provide specialist administrative support to the L&D Team to meet the unique needs of the service. This includes being the main person responsible for co-ordinating all activities relating to training and events delivered by L&D and partners across the department, organisation and external agencies.

The post holders will have responsibility for detailed planning and responding to stakeholders/partners needs and changes. Often at short notice through initiating alternative or complimentary arrangements.

The role requires the ability to work as part of a wider team as well as having the ability to work independently when required. Using initiative, responding to change and working flexibly. Some home working will be required for this role.

The positions are full or part time, 10 months fixed term and 18.75 hours a week, Permanent.

Main duties of the job

Co-ordinate mandatory training across the Trust establishing a clear process to be followed.

To provide administration and clerical support, this will include, maintaining databases and booking trust staff onto mandatory training courses. To provide support to learners in accessing training and the resources required to support this, such as producing Trust ID Badges and supplying uniforms to new starters.

In addition you will be required to provide excellent customer service, communicating with Trust staff at all levels in a timley manner.
