Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a motivated and experienced Senior Business Administrator to the AHP Lead/Clinical Director and MSK Service within Community Health Services.
The post holder must have previous experience of working in a secretarial or administrative role and will be working closely with our senior team. You will need to have a warm and professional, confident manner.
You must have excellent organisational skills, have a flexible approach, but be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. This role will work alongside the current Personal Assistants within the directorate.
The post requires experience of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Power Point. Experience of audio typing may also be of benefit with excellent word processing/typing skills, exceptional organisational abilities,
and the capability to work in a confidential manner are of paramount importance
in this role.
The post also requires the candidate to be the main admin support for the CHS on call rota.
This post takes full advantage of agile working with a base at Bridge Park Plaza currently, moving to Charnwood Mill in Spring 2024, remote home working and ad-hoc travel required to various LPT locations, where parking is free of charge. Annual leave - 27 days for new starters plus bank holidays which increases after 5 years.

Main duties of the job
This post is a vital part of the Directorate Management Team,
and you will be required to provide comprehensive high level administrative support to the AHP Lead/Clinical Director and the MSK Senior Team.
The candidate will manage diaries, including taking responsibility for planning and co-ordination of
meetings, ensuring scheduling, and coordinating any required changes are integrated
into the diaries accordingly to ensure attendance of the directors. Always ensuring
they use their time effectively and efficiently.
To provide high level administrative support for identified meetings and projects, ensuring timely receipt of papers, minutes and managing agreed actions/log .
The post also requires the candidate to be the main admin support for the CHS on call rota. Experience of working with rotas would be beneficial.
The ability to communicate effectively; to work well under
pressure and to prioritise the demands in a busy environment, are also
essential.
Managing competing priorities and identifying quickly emerging
pinch points that may impact on the performance or productivity of the team is
also necessary.
To understand the aims and objectives of the organisation, working closely with the aligned services/managers to minimise their time undertaking administrative duties.
To be a vital part of the Directorate Management team and be able to work proactively and productively using their own initiative.
