We are looking for people to join our teams at Hinckley and Bosworth Community Hospital as Health Care Support Workers. If you would enjoy making a difference to patients lives and have excellent communication skills then this could be the post for you. Our wards are led by nurses and you will work under their guidance as part of a very supportive team. We are looking for people who can contribute to the care of our patients with kindness, compassion and empathy. Experience of working in health and social care is desirable but not essential. Full support and training will be given so we are also interested in meeting you if you have no experience but can demonstrate an interest in and motivation for the role. You will be supported to complete the Care Certificate and we actively encourage on-going development. The post will provide cover on a rota basis over a 24 hour per day, 7 day a week service.
There are two wards at Hinckley which provide sub-acute care, palliative care & complex rehabilitation. You are welcome to visit one of the wards during the application process to give you an insight into the role. If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact the name on this advert.

Main duties of the job
Undertaking clinical observations and providing clinical care as delegated.
Supporting our patients in maintaining their health, well-being and independence.
Providing personal care.
Accurately recording patient information.
Working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
