Job summary
- Do you have Physiotherapy experience, excellent clinical skills and are passionate about working as a physiotherapist on a dynamic rehabilitation ward?
- We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Band 6 Physiotherapist with rehabilitation experience, to work in a Community Hospital across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
- You will require skills in providing therapy, gained from experience in either a hospital or community setting. You will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills and have a positive approach to multidisciplinary team working.
- LPT offers a comprehensive mandatory training programme and the successful candidate will also be supported to undertake regular clinical supervision, participate in CPD activities and develop any specific areas of interest.

Main duties of the job
To provide patient centred, goal directed rehabilitation with a varied caseload of pathologies and effectively undertake discharge planning.
To work closely with the team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Support Workers and the wider MDT including the Specialist Consultant, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Matron, Ward Sister, Registered Nurses, Health Care Support Workers, Speech Therapists and Dieticians.
To work with the MDT to develop the in-patient service and maintain high standards of care.
