An exciting new role of an Administrator has arisen in the Leicestershire Physical Health Register service.

The Leicestershire Physical Health Register is a reminder and follow up service for physical health checks for patients with severe mental illness. These health checks are essential and important for ensuring prescribed medication and health conditions are monitored and followed up appropriately. The service is lead by a senior mental health pharmacist and supported by the trust.

You will provide an effective, efficient, and confidential administrative service to support the service. There is a need to be able to work within a busy work environment with a high degree of accuracy and to tight deadlines.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated administrator to our team who has the ability to prioritise their workload and act on their own initiative.

To undertake duties including review of daily reports, update excel spreadsheets, maintenance of databases, incoming emails and queries and take appropriate actions related to these.

To undertake administrative and clerical duties as required ensuring that patient notes and office systems are kept up to date.

To check patients' blood results, transcribe these onto our central database, complete all relevant paper work and send reminders and follow up to colleagues.

The role is 15 hours and this can be worked flexibly any time between 8:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
