We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable colleagues who can contribute to the care of our patients with kindness, compassion and empathy. The ward at Melton Community Hospital is led by nurses and you will work under their guidance as part of a very supportive team. Experience of working in health and social care is desirable but not essential. Full support and training will be given so we are also interested in meeting you if you have no experience but can demonstrate an interest in and motivation for the role. You will be supported to complete the Care Certificate and we actively encourage on-going development. The post will provide cover on a rota basis over a 24 hour per day, 7 day a week service.
The ward provides sub-acute care, palliative care and complex rehabilitation and is one of thirteen wards which form the Trusts Inpatient Community Health Services Division. Main duties of the job
Undertaking clinical observations and providing clinical care as delegated.
Supporting our patients in maintaining their health, well-being and independence.
Providing personal care.
Accurately recording patient information.
Working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
