Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust Safeguarding Team.
The post is based at Gwendolen House, with the requirements of the attached job description being a post requirement.
The candidate must be a qualified Mental Health Nurse.
This is an opportunity to further develop your safeguarding knowledge and expertise. The post holder will be working across the Adult and Children Safeguarding agenda.
This post has responsibility for working under the guidance of the Lead Practitioner for Safeguarding (MCA / DoLS / MAPPA / Prevent Focus) to strengthen delivery of safeguarding assurance processes across LPT.
- To deliver effective safeguarding supervision to staff working within front line services, ensuring risk areas within cases are managed effectively and that staff are adequately supported.
- To support & contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of LPT safeguarding education and training programmes.
- To work in partnership with partner agencies and professionals, within safeguarding processes to improve outcomes for all utilising the Whole Family approach adopted by LPT.
- To promote and develop the LPT Safeguarding Team as a training placement for students.
This is a full-time position. The applicant must have extensive clinical experience of case-load management and working with people at risk.
