Band 4 Assistant Psychologist

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an 0.4wte Assistant Psychologist to join our psychology team in the Enhanced Rehabilitation and Recovery Pathway. The pathway has inpatient services at Stewart House and The Willows and a community enhanced rehabilitation team. People receiving interventions from the pathway have severe and enduring mental health difficulties including complex psychosis.
Applicants should have experience of working with service users with mental health problems and graduate basis for registration with the British Psychological Society.
The psychology service is very supportive with regular provision of individual and peer supervision. Strong links are established with local services to enhance the opportunities for peer supervision and support. Clinical supervision and opportunities for CPD will be provided.
PLEASE NOTE: we also have an opportunity for a 0.2wte Research Assistant to join the department. We would recommend people apply for both available posts.

Main duties of the job
There will be opportunities for post holder to conduct assessments, structured interventions, and group work under supervision, as well as duties including research and audit and assisting in delivering training packages to other professionals.
