Job summary
The successful candidate will provide a high standard of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services to our patients. You will provide quality assessments and carry a caseload of patients within your scope of practice and be supervised by registered clinicians. You will use clinical reasoning skills to deliver suitable treatment plans for a specific group of patients.
You should have previous experience working with a similar group of patients, with developed problem solving and clinical reasoning skills.
You will be required to hold an Assistant Practitioner qualification or be expected to complete the training once in post.
Main duties of the job
To undertake appropriate assessments, develop clinically reasoned and appropriate treatment plans and provide individualised patient care.
To carry your own patient caseload within agreed guidelines and within your scope of practice.
To work unsupervised with individuals or groups of patients, reporting back patient progress and informing the Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist of any relevant issues.
