Job summary
We are currently looking to recruit and develop Band 5 Mental Health Staff Nurses to join our team on Griffin Ward. We are looking for motivated, proactive, enthusiastic, and caring professionals be part of our multi-disciplinary team.
Griffin ward is a 6 bedded ward providing psychiatric intensive care for female service users.
As part of the role, you will be involved in the ongoing development of the pathways used within the service and will be responsible for supporting the team in assessing, planning, and implementing evidence-based care to service users. You will be a role model and support the safe coordinating of shifts and delegating nursing duties to the nursing team.

Main duties of the job
The post holders will be band 5 nurses who can demonstrate that they have a range of transferable skills that will benefit the delivery of high standards of care and enrich the MDT.
The role involves supporting the nursing team to deliver packages of care to a diverse group of people with complex needs. You will need to be able to display a positive attitude and have the ability to challenge positively where necessary.
The successful candidate will also need to be flexible and adaptable in order to work effectively in a challenging environment and contribute to our successes. The role will involve working closely with various members of the MDT and the Ward Manager to ensure that care is of the highest standard, and performance standards and best practice are achieved.
