Clinical/Operational Team Lead (RNLD) CAMHS LDT - Band 8A (This is a permanent post but secondment opportunity would be considered for the right candidate)
CAMHS LDT is a nurse led service providing care for children/young people with Intellectual Developmental Disability (IDD) presenting with mental health problems and or high risk/complex behavioural presentations.The post holder will work alongside the senior matron/team leader to jointly undertake the role of clinical and operational team leads.
CAMHS LDT is an exciting and innovative team providing outpatient, outreach and day patient care in a variety of environments and situations. We work directly with the CYP and their families in addition to working with other services and commissioning bodies.
We are currently undertaking extension of our service provision into wider CAMHS areas through the development and embedding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to enable CYP with IDD/Autism access to additional assessment and input via this framework.
Main duties of the job
The clinical/operational lead will undertake direct clinical work with complex presentation, in addition to attending an array of urgent meetings regarding CYP open to the service. They will provide clinical and line management supervision to staff, over see staff absence, performance and conduct, develop and review care pathways.
The post holder will also assume responsibility for the development, implementation and reviewing of new projects undertaken by the team. This will include recruitment.
Operationally the post holder will share budget responsibility, staff management, and other non clinical tasks required.

- MSc or equivalent qualification or verified portfolio of evidence of working towards
