This position is for within the specialist network and working primarily in LD care hub
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a robust governanceframework within a defined locality/specialism as part of the Care Hub Triumvirateleadership team supporting the delivery of a high quality, safe and supportive healthservices and to support the quality and governance agendas of Pennine Care NHSFoundation Trust.The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating all quality and governanceactivity including the development and / or implementation of policies, riskmanagement strategies, training programmes and audit activity.The post holder will be responsible for the planning, delivery and review of acomprehensive range of mental health servicesThe post holder will participate in the on call rota.
Main duties of the job
To be a core member of the care hub tier 3 triumvirate working alongside thecare hub associate director and clinical director to ensure effective planning,delivery and review of a comprehensive range of mental health services withinthe care hub.o To hold joint responsibility for the management of the care hub ensuring theeffective implementation of both national and local strategies and theachievement of service objectives within available resources.o To represent the care hub at a senior level in both internal and externalmeetings.AFC 8/11/23 JME-297-23 Head of Quality Band 8bo To receive escalations for the care hub in relation to patient safety,experience and effectiveness and to ensure appropriate management ofthese to mitigate/reduce any identified risk.o A requirement to support teams to understand their responsibility andaccountability for safety, experience and effectiveness. Including, undertakedifficult conversations with staff and/or teams to hold them to account whenconcerns are raised in relation to clinical practice impacting on patient safetyand quality of care.
