Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Report Developer to join our newly established Strategic Performance and Information service for a period of 18 months.
In this role you will support delivery of statutory and corporate reporting requirements, including national data submissions to NHS England and other regulatory bodies.This includes assisting with data collection, validation, and reporting processes, and ensuring data quality and compliance with national standards.
The post holder will also be responsible for trouble shooting any data related issues that are escalated to the department and liaising with the wider team to ensure the issues are resolved and responded to.
You will support internal performance reporting, benchmarking submissions, and the development of data visualisations in collaboration with the wider reporting team.
You will have the ability to solve problems through effective questioning and investigation with a strong attention to detail and excellent communication and organisational skills.
Main duties of the job
- Develop and follow detailed procedures to prepare and submit data for all statutory and mandated reporting requirements ensuring statutory deadlines are met. This will involve using Microsoft Excel, Tableau and running SQL queries.
- Monitor internal information requests and provide initial triage and response.
- Participate in audits, FOIs, and ad-hoc information requests as required.
- Support the development and ongoing maintenance of the Trust's management information system (Power BI/ Tableau)
- Support the development of internal dashboards and reports for corporate performance monitoring using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
