NHS 111 Mental Health First Responder

Job summary
Exciting new opportunity to join a team of mental health professionals providing triage to callers to the NHS 111 national service whom identify as being in a mental health crisis you will be part of the team in providing ' Hear and Treat' or identifying the correct service for the caller to provide the most appropriate response. You will take triage calls and provide a high quality, person centred triage of callers, advising your callers of the most appropriate services whilst maintaining quality and professionalism at all times. You will work as part of a shift team, supporting the shift coordinators, in a busy 24hr service as part of the wider crisis offer, in an innovative collaboration with the hosts Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust to provide the service to the Greater Manchester population. You will also be part of the first responder service, providing face to face support where the assessment has indicated that this is the best response, to provide a comprehensive psychosocial assessment of need to identify the best means of support to our service users.
