As an EMHP you will be delivering CBT Evidence-Based Interventions for children and young people, with mild to moderate mental health and behavioural problems, in a range of Education Settings.
You will be helping children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access more specialist services. Another key part of your role is to support the staff in your allocated Education Settings to identify, and where appropriate, manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing; supporting them to develop whole school approaches to positive mental health.
Working with and within educational environments to afford better access to specialist mental health services. You'll be able to identify and work with low level risk and recognise higher level risk, escalating this appropriately to relevant services.
Main duties of the job

Developing and practicingEvidence-Basedskills and working in partnership with children, young people, their families and educators in the development of treatment plans for the specific intervention and agreeing outcomes.
Work incollaborationwith children and young people and where appropriate parents/carers to formulate and develop agreed treatment plan.
Provide individual and group interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties
Be an active participant in case discussions, multi-agency meetings, and regular supervision to ensure high standards of care.
