Hosted by Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, this role is based within NHS Greater Manchester's Mental Health Programme Management Office (GM MH PMO) supporting design and delivery of a range of transformation programmes.
The postholder will provide high quality project and administrative support including reporting, minute taking, scheduling of meetings, progress updates, stakeholder engagement and analysis of information.
Main duties of the job
o The post holder will be required to provide high quality project, service, initiative and administrative support including information and analysis.o The post holder will undertake reporting and analysis of information to support delivery of agreed programmes of work.o The post holder is a key member of the GM MH PMO team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the delivery of priority transformation programmes aligned on behalf of the system board.o The post holder will work with the Programme Director and wider team to improve, inform, and support a portfolio of projects, services, and initiatives.o The job description and person specification may be reviewed on an ongoing basis in accordance with the changing needs of the Department and the Organisation.

Job responsibilities
The Project Support Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the programme management office (PMO). This will include working with PMO team members to develop processes and audit trails to manage, track and report on programme/project progress. Provides a high quality and comprehensive support service to the function. Supervises and manages staff as required.
Participates in projects for the system board supporting the project or programme of work from initiation to delivery. Schedule and organise meetings (e.g. project board meetings) and other events. Plan/co-ordinate as necessary, undertake formal minutes for meetings and take follow up action as appropriate. Track project deliverables, including expenditure and savings.
The postholder will need to form good working relationships with a range of people, both within and external to NHS GM. Members of the public and service users as appropriate. The postholder will progress chase on programme and project activities, including with senior managers and external suppliers. This will require communication which is both effective and perceived as helpful. The postholder will prepare briefing information and deal with routine correspondence, drafting replies as appropriate.
